The All Powerful Mind

Monday, July 14th, 2008

Thoughts are energy. Waveforms. Thought that is concentrated on a purpose becomes power. The power to manifest your desire. Repeatedly thinking the same thoughts reinforces these belief systems and attracts more of the same to you. Understanding how to use this mental power is the source of power in the world.

Your ability to think clearly and to concentrate is exactly the ability that you need to affect changes in your environment.

Creativity comes in many forms.  But, it seems that the repeating secret key to any creativity is accessing ideas that stem from within the mind.  By stilling the mind to focus on your creation, you will find within yourself the mind’s own natural ability to conceive and create.

Great thoughts can come from simple curiosity.  Concentrate on a subject.  Focus.  Reach into the depths of your mind.  There you will find your inspiration, ideas, and creativity.  This is the source of all clarity and vision. And from there money, fame, power if you so choose.

Concentrate. Focus.  As Einstein said “I have no special talent.  I am only passionately curious.”

The more you experience this power, the better it feels and then the more you may want to do it.  With very little time or effort, you can slip into that crack in time and feel your heart sing with the joy of creation.

This is one of the many reasons people meditate.  Because it is here, in the silence, that you can reconnect with your self and find peace.

Conscious thoughts flow through the mind into the center of our will. The character of our conscious thought will determine the experiences that we have, therefore.

When you look to this very moment, without judgment, you can experience the truth.  In the moment is where the power lies. In this unstoppable curiosity of life.  Your power is never available when thinking about the past, the future, the people in your life.  Power is expressed via your curiosity of ideas.

Mental capacity expressed by concentration on ideas creates epiphany. And that epiphany can be your art, your invention, your new business, relationship or even your new baby.   Your idea.  Your reality.

Trust Your Self

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all of your life.  Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”

—Golda Meir, Prime Minister, Israel

It seems when we get ourselves in those frantic states for whatever reason, we have fundamentally disconnected from our healthier natural state of well-being. The object of the game, if I may call it so, is to remain constantly connected to that source of well-being.

The faster you can catch yourself from sliding into these states of despair, the better your overall creativity, objectivity, and health will be. You are not enslaved by your life. It is a choice. The mental state that you habituate is also a choice. Unfortunately, repeated dwelling on negative thoughts appears to make chemical and neurological changes to the brain. As a result, depression, psychosis and other various states of psychological ill heath ensue.

Just remember, you are here on this earth for a certain timeframe. You have and can experience the beauty and basic goodness of the world and its people. You can synchronize your mind and body so that your experience is delightful. So that you are helpful to others. You can make a significant contribution to the world by your creativity and kindness.

You are in charge. If you can stop your thinking (can you?) for just a moment, you might be able to quiet down your mind. Are you appreciating the small things in life? Are you in the moment?

Or are you thinking about yesterday, tomorrow, or what he or she just said. Buddhist philosophy calls this grasping.

In those quiet moments is the source of the Still Small Voice. Going back to your self is the path to clarity and grace.

It is not so much that the world is tough and then you die. But that you can direct the time that you have on this magnificent playground to be productive and fun.

With your mind, body and senses you perceive the world. With your mind, you synthesize your perceptions and create your truth. It is not the only truth, but your truth. Habitual thinking creates belief. And belief systems are intractable sources of some of the world’s greatest ills.

The mind is all powerful. From mind comes thought. From thought comes reality.

If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t.

Create peace with yourself. Trust your SELF. Your self knows what is best for you. And grace, abundance, love and peace is what you are here to experience.

Everything is Energy

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Interestingly enough, science is getting closer and closer to metaphysics in their understanding and explanation of reality. What is even stranger, yet, is that ancient and secret texts such as the Zohar and Rig Veda cite many of the same conclusions, such as the Big Bang, as today’s quantum theoreticians.

Einstein both spent a lifetime concentrating on light and matter contributing to our understanding of the subatomic world. Einstein shows us mathematically that all motion is relative, that energy and matter are different states of the same thing, particles and waves, and that time and space are just two peices of one dimension: space-time.

Quantum physics has shown us that light manifests both as waves and particles and that its properties can change based upon the observer. They call this the Wave-Particle duality and as wierd as this phenomenon seems, it is not in question by modern science. Furthermore, they have proven that particles can be in two places at once.

This field is amazing. Awesome. And the applications are just being dreamed by the futurists in computing, transportation (shall I say teleportation), energy, biology and medicine, and psychology. Most importantly, perhaps, is that these quanta may indeed be at work in the human brain and further explain how we think, perceive and remember.

So, reality is in the mind of the observer. It is likely that there are more dimensions than we can perceive with our limited 5 senses.

What I am saying is that people are quantum beings, and that we are subject to the very same immutable laws of physics as everything else in the universe. By studying these phenomena and aligning them to the visions of the philosophers, we can better understand how to harness the amazing powers that are readily at our disposal.

By unleashing our human potential we can accelerate our evolutionary progress, align ourselves to our own conscious intent and increase our consciousness to manifest our hidden talents, knowledge and body vitality. I believe that we can all do this. That by so doing we will have an increased joy in life and attain self mastery.

Light and Spirit

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Every time you suppress some part of yourself or allow others to play you small, you are in essence ignoring the owner’s manual the creator gave you and destroying your design.

—Oprah Winfrey

Light is commonly used as a spiritual metaphor as many philosophical schools have developed theories that people are beings of light and that we are equipped with a tiny spark of light from a divine source.

Our inner light, or radiance, forms the core of our being. We seem to have an invisible relationship within our self that is a “quantum” relationship between matter and energy.  Between what we see and experience and a softer energy which we can describe as what we can feel.  “Vibes”.

All matter has its own vibrational frequency.  Everything.  Bacteria, sound, color, neurotransmitters, emotions.  Everything.   Einstein and other physicists clearly explain that matter and energy are synonymous.  Quantum theory is truly amazing.  Niels Bohr, the Danish physicist (1885-1962) was quoted to say that  “Anyone who is not shocked by quantum theory has not understood it.

People are extremely sensitive transmitters and receivers and appear to be able to clearly feel the inner spirit or emotional state of other people.  And for that matter, one’s countenance is revealing of inner spirit.

Like the Beach Boys say, “Good, good good good vibrations”.   Or sometimes, not so good.

Light Works

Love life. It is amazing. So deep, so rich. I am awestruck every day by the magnitude of what is on this earth. Do you know that they say that scientists have looked inward at the quantum world at the same level that we have perceived the cosmos? Everywhere we look is gorgeous grace. It is good.

The depth and complexity of this earth cannot be described in any other way but awe. Beauty. Delight. Interest. So many forks in the road to take. So many people to meet, every one a teacher.

We have our life and our work.

We bring our gifts to others though our work. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you are making a contribution. Work is not who we are, but what we do. More on this later.

Each day is a new beginning. A chance to change and flower again. A chance to erase our personal history. A time to make someone happy. A time to love.

Our purpose here is not necessarily the fulfillment of our work, but to move forward to achieve our highest human potential. And the further you go in achieving it, the more that will be revealed about what lies ahead. Much has been written about this topic.

By concentrating your focus on the positive, on what you want to achieve, how you want to perceive, you will be able to bring your personal energy to a higher level. Tune in to nature. Turn off your cellphone. Spend time with people you love and who love you. Pay attention to your friends and family. Listen to them. Give your love to them. Be patient.

As you look with eyes wide open, you may be able to perceive more clearly what is being said, and what goes unsaid that you can hear. Your awareness will grow. Your understanding will become grounded in a clearer reality not tainted by your personal judgements and attachments. Clarity. Perhaps a little closer to truth.
